Day 2 Sunday - Arrive Lome/Togo via Paris in the late afternoon. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the first class Hotel Marcure Sarakawa.

Day 3 Monday - After breakfast take a tour of the city. Stop at the fishing harbor, the fetish market, the National Museum, Independence Square, the artisans village, Art Street and Lome Central Market, kingdom of the famous "Nana Benz" where you can try your bargaining skills. In the afternoon drive to a voodoo village on the outskirts of Lome. Arrive in the village to a welcome ceremony by the chief priest and attendants. Witness a cermony involving drumbeats, trance and ritual dances. Meet with the chief priest before returning to your hotel.

Day 4 Tuesday - After breakfast depart for Kpalime. On the way visit funerary monuments, a rural village, a bush school and a rural market. The tour continues through the cocoa and coffe plantations to Kpalime. On arrival visit the Kloto craft center producing wood carvings, pottery, macrame and batik. Lunch at a local restaurant and then proceed to Kuma Konda on top of Mount Kloto. Here take a tour of the flora of the region. Return to Kpalime and the Hotel Chez Fanny. This evening attend a "Akpesse" folk dance in a village.

Day 5 Wednesday - Full day tour visiting Atakpame, Sokode, Bassar, Bandjeli & Kara. A highlight of the day is dance of fire and dance of virgins in Bandjeli. Overnight at the Hotel Kara in Kara.

Day 6 Thursday - VCity tour of Kara then visit Kabyeland, Koutammakou, Lassoland & Notse. In Koutammakou learn about the settlement and visit the "tata", fort like clay houses spread over the fields.Lunch in Notse, the historic capital of the Ewe people. Overnight at the Hotel Le Berceau in Ewe.

Day 7 Friday - After breakfast depart for "Agbogbo" and at the historical square pay a courtesy visit to King Agokoli, the superior king of the Ewe people at his palace. After the visit proceed to Lome. Lunch at a local restaurant then check in the Hotel Mercure Sarakawa.

Day 8 Saturday - Free day for last minute shopping, packing and resting before transferring to the airport for you evening return flight. Depart on Air France.

Day 9 Sunday - Arrive New York/Kennedy Airport via Paris in the early afternoon.
