Namibia - Classic Namibia Flyling Safari

Day 1 Saturday: Depart New York/Kennedy Airport on South African Air.

Day 2 Sunday: Arrive Johannesburg and transfer to the D'orio Grand Hotel.

Day 3 Monday: Return to the airport for your early morning flight to Windhoek, Namibia. You will be met on arrival and begin you safari with a charter flight to southern Namibia. Visit the Hardap Dam, Kalahari Desert, extinct Brukkaros volcano and the vast plains. Overnight at Fish River Canyon. Dinner.

Day 4 Tuesday:  Sossusvlei. Scenic flight over Fish River Canyon and over the Namib to Sesriem in the southern Namib Desert to visit the magnificent sand dunes. Overnight at Sossuvlei. Breakfast & Dinner.

Day 5 Wednesday:  Swakopmund. Visit Sossusvlei and the highest desert dunes in the world. Explore Sesriem Canyon and then a low level flight over dune desert to Swakopmund and overnight. Breakfast.

Day 6 Thursday: Damaraland. Transfer to Walvis Bay for a Marine Cruise. See many bird varieties and the Cape fur seals. A good chance to sight dolphins. Enjoy oysters, canapes, sparkling wine and soft drinks before flying north along the Skeleton Coast, over Cape Cross seal colony, shipwrecks, Museum Crater and riverbeds. Overnight Twyfelfontein. Breakfast & Dinner.

Day 7 Friday:  Etosha National Park. Fly across nothern interior to a private game lodge at the eastern gate to Etosha National Park. Game viewing and overnight at a private lodge. Breakfast & Dinner.

Day 8 Saturday:  Morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Overnight Etosha. Breakfast, lunch & dinner.

Day 9 Sunday:  Breakfast & return to Windhoek for your connecting flight to Johannesburg and the U.S.

Day 10 Monday:  Arrive New York in the morning.
