South Africa - Capetown to Krueger

Day 1 Saturday: Depart New York on South African Air or Atlanta on Delta Air.

Day 2 Sunday: Arrive Capetown where you will be met and transferred to the Cape Milner Hotel.

Day 3 Monday: Tour of the city that includes visits to the South African Museum, the Malay Quarter and the Harbor. Drive up Signal Hill and visit the famous Table Mountain and finish with a drive through the popular resort of Sea Point.

Day 4 Tuesday:  Morning departure to visit the world famous Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens. Then continue via. the Indian Ocean Coast Line to the Cape Point Nature Reserve. Ascend to the highest point on the "Flying Dutchman". Lunch will be served in the reserve. Then continue over Champmans Peak. Hour Bay, Llandudno and Clifton and back to ycur hotel late afternoon.

Day 5 Wednesday:  Wineland Tour. Your route takes you via Paarl, where you visit the "Taal Monument". Then continue to a local family run winery for cheese and wine tasting. Continue through the beautiful Paarl Valley to the historic Boschendal for a second wine tasting and then on to Stellenbosch for lunch. Take a leisure tour of this historic village before returning to Cape Town late afternoon.

Day 6 Thursday: Return transfer to the airport for your flight to Kruger National Park. You'll be met at Hoedspruit airport and transferred byroad to Imabli Lodge ( http://www.threecities.co.za) in the world famous Kruger National Park. This evening take your first game viewing drive. Imbali supports a remarkable assemblage of wildlife - including large breeding herds of elephant and an abundance of buffalo, white rhino, giraffe and antelope, while Africa's great cats-leopard,cheetah and large prides of lion follow silently in their tracks. Imbali will immerse you in the romance and style of a bygone era.

Day 7 Friday:  Full day game viewing.

Day 8 Saturday:  Morning game viewing then transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg. You will be met and transferred to the Holiday Inn Sandton.

Day 9 Sunday:  Morning tour of the township fo Soweto. Afternoon tour to Gold Reef City, replica of old time Johannesburg.

Day 10 Monday:  Morning departure for Bruma Flea Market, one of Johannesburg's largest open-air craft markets. Continue on the Heia Safari Ranch for a genuine "Braa" barbecue lunch and then watch the exciting Mzumba dancing at the ranch. Return to Johannesburg late afternoon.

Day 11 Tuesday:  Leisure day for last minute shopping and packing. Transfer to the airport late afternoon for your South African Airways flight to New York.

Day 12 Wednesday:  Arrive New York or Atlanta in early morning.
